Click [http://patcoston.com/stephenking/TheLongWalk-Ticket.txt here] to see my notes of the Tickets and the Counts when they mentioned how many had died or how many were left.  I indicate where the count is WRONG.  I include an excerpt for each ticket.  Page numbers are from Kindle for Windows.  The software was free and the book cost about $9.  I read the book 13 times in a row (actually, listened on Audible on my long commute), and took detailed notes.  I just reread from Sledge's ticket to Abraham's ticket, and I don't see anywhere it mentions 4 other boys died.  Can you find the exact excerpt?  My count is 97 dead, not including Garraty.  Note that the count given is wrong in 5 places. Sometimes the count is too much, sometimes it's not enough.
