TR-90, Maine

TR-90 was an unincorporated town in Maine.

In some appearances, the town borders Chester's Mill to the south and is roughly in the proximity of Castle Rock and its neighboring towns. "Two Talented Bastids" places TR-90 in Castle County in the approximate vicinity of Castle Rock and Harlow. According to Cell, the township lies approximately eighty miles north of Kent Pond, with Route 160 nearly connecting the two. Cell also states that Kashwakamak is on or near TR-90. These appearances indicate that the township is in western or southwestern Maine.

The novella "Rat" contradicts this by placing TR-90 in northern Maine (seemingly an isolated part of Aroostook County), near the Canadian border.

In "Two Talented Bastids," Laird Carmody and Dave LaVerdiere seemingly have an encounter with two extraterrestrial beings in the vicinity of their cabin and Jilasi Creek on TR-90. By the time of the book's frame story (sometime not long after 2023), TR-90 no longer exists and has been replaced by the incorporated town of Pritchard.
