Scott Glenn (born January 26, 1941) is an American actor, best known for his role as Stick in Marvel's Daredevil, Jack Crawford in The Silence of the Lambs and as Alan Shepard in The Right Stuff.

He currently portrays the role of Alan Pangborn in Castle Rock.

Career[]

Glenn was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After a career in the United States Navy and a stint as a journalist, he made his Broadway debut in 1965 with The Impossible Years. He spent several years doing TV roles and bit-parts in movies until landing his first major role in 1979 as Captain Richard M. Colby in Francis Ford Coppola's "Apocalypse Now".
