Eric "Rusty" Denton (b. 1972) was the fiancé of Linda Esquivel, brother of Freddy Denton, and a firefighter in Chester's Mill, Maine.
He later returned on Visitor's Day to see Linda.
His novel counterpart is Rusty Everett, which is the husband of Linda Esquivel's novel counterpart of Linda Everett.
