Rattlesnake Key

Rattlesnake Key is a four-mile island on Florida's gulf coast south of the former site of Duma Key. Its southern end is populated by houses and condos, while its northern end is dominated by McMansions amidst palmetto trees and tangled undergrowth. At one point, the northern end of the island was dominated by the eponymous rattlesnakes until the tragic deaths of Jacob Bell and Joseph Bell led to a coordinated effort to exterminate them.
