Principal Morton was played by Laurie Murdoch
Principal Morton was the Principal in the Ewen High School in the Carrie (2002) version. He had problems in remembering names. He gave the class a week's detention for what they did to Carrie and gave Miss Desjarden the power to decide what punishment they should have. He also stood his ground, when John Hargensen tried to reverse the suspension of his daughter, when she refused to take part in the punishment, much like the novel. He was electrocuted at the prom, when he grabbed the microphone in an attempt to calm people down.
