My Name is Susan Snell is a memoir written by Sue Snell and published in 1986 by Simon & Schuster.
The book recounts Snell's part in the events leading up to the Black Prom of 1979. She hopes to close this chapter in her life in a way, defend her and Tommy's actions and then go to a place where no one knows her, so that she can think, what she will do until she dies implying that her heart is broken because of the events at the Black Prom to the extent, that she is embracing death because of it.
