Lucia "Lucy" Stone (nee' Reynolds) is a minor character of the Stephen King multiverse.
Serving as a supporting character of Doctor Sleep and it’s film adaptation of the same name.
Biography[]
Doctor Sleep (novel)[]
Lucy was a product of an affair between Jack Torrance and Sandy Reynolds while he was teaching. After her mother died in a car accident, she was raised by her grandmother, Concetta Reynolds. Later in life, she married David and gave birth to their only daughter, Abra, who is a more powerful psychic than her uncle, Dan.
Main events[]
In August 2013, Lucy gets a call from Concetta, she tells Lucy that she broke her hip. When she hangs up, Abra calls Lucy (from Camp Tapawingo in Maine) that she wants to come back home but Lucy tells her what happened. When Lucy picks Abra up, they have no choice but to leave for Boston to stay with Concetta. They would spent the last two weeks of August and first week of September there. One day, Concetta tells Lucy that she isn’t afraid to die. Abra would start middle school on September Eighth so she would stay with her dad on weekdays and stay with her mom and grandma on weekends.
On Sunday night, Lucy hears Concetta screaming, she runs in to see her mom on the floor crying with a broken arm and calls the ambulance. In the morning, Lucy goes to Mass General to call David to break the news. When she knows Abra is now down stairs, she tells David to put her on the phone.
