John Paul Cusack (born June 28, 1966) is an American actor, producer, screenwriter and political activist. He is a son of filmmaker Dick Cusack and the younger brother of actresses Joan and Ann Cusack. He has acted in three film adaptations of Stephen King's works. He portrayed Dennis "Denny" Lachance in Stand By Me (1986), Mike Enslin in 1408 (2007) and Clayton Riddell in Cell.
