Jane Colburn Levy (born January 2, 1975) is an American Actress best known for her roles as Mia Allen in 2012's Evil Dead, Tessa Altman in Suburgatory and as Rocky in Don't Breathe. She portrays Jackie Torrance in Castle Rock.
Early life
Jane Levy was born in Los Angeles to Mary and Lester Levy. Her mother is an artist, and her father is a musician. Levy attended Sir Francis Drake High School in San Anselmo, California where she was member of the school's hip hop dancing team, and captain of the soccer team. Her first taste of acting was community theatre, where she appeared in productions of Annie and The Wizard of Oz. Levy went on to study at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York City.
Career
1980–2015
Levy returned to Los Angeles after two years in New York City where she was cast in the role of Mandy Milkovich in the Showtime series Shameless for a five-episode run. In March 2011, Levy was cast in the lead role of Tessa Altman in the sitcom Suburgatory, a role she played for three years until the show's cancellation.
