Jan Edgecomb was played by Bonnie Hunt in the 1999 film adaptation of The Green Mile.
She is the wife of Paul Edgecomb. They have been married for many years and their children are grown and moved out when the story begins. She and Paul have a good marriage and they are very tight. Sadly, she dies before Paul.
