Jacob George "Jake" Epping is a supporting protagonist of the Stephen King multiverse.
Serving as the main protagonist of the novel 11/22/63, it's TV series adaptation of the same name, and a mentioned character in The Dark Tower series.
He is a high school English teacher and a resident of Lisbon, Maine. In 2011, Jake learned of the existence of a temporal portal from Al Templeton, and later used the portal to travel back to 1958 in order to prevent Frank Dunning from murdering his family. Later in that year, he travelled to Dallas, Texas to begin preparations for intervening in Lee Harvey Oswald's assassination of John F. Kennedy. While in Texas, he has a relationship with Sadie Dunhill. Jake Epping knows the effects of time travel but goes ahead anyway.
