Mrs. Henrietta Bowers is a minor character in the Novel It.
Biography[]
Henrietta Bowers is the mother of Henry Bowers and also the wife of Oscar "Butch" Bowers. Henrietta and her son would both often be physically abused by Butch on a daily basis. While Butch is the primary reason for Henry's behavior, it is apparent that Henrietta herself isn't much of an improvement as a mother, as while she left her abusive husband in 1956 after being nearly beaten to death by him, she left her son with Butch when she could've saved him as well as herself. It is also said that Rena Davenport had been bringing Butch beans since Henry was 8, so he may have already been cheating on her for some time.
