The Glamours are a shapeshifting tribe of fear-eaters.

The Losers' Club finds information leading them to believe It was a glamour (using the term from Gaelic origin), from a book Bill Denbrough found in the Derry Public Library titled Night's Truth. This discovery is also where they found information leading to the Ritual of Chüd. Other names are Manitou by Plains Indians, Taelus by natives of the Himalayas, Eylak in Central Europe, and Le Loup-Garou in France.
