Gert Kinshaw is a woman from the Daughters and Sisters shelter who teaches self-defense to battered women. She is one of the main characters in Rose Madder.
Rose Madder
She is Anna's second in command. At the picnic, she rescues Cynthia after Cynthia is attacked by Norman Daniels. She beats him up and urinates on him, humiliating him. However he tazes her, but she manages to get away and escapes by wearing a full face bull mask.
