Edward "Eddie" Chalmers is a resident of Chester's Mill, Maine, and the owner of a pumpkin field, with a Scarecrow Without A Country, that borders TR-90.
Under the Dome
On "Dome Day" a scarecrow was cut in half the same way as the woodchuck and it fell in Chalmers's pumpkin field, not far from Pretty Valley Road. The scarecrows stance seemed to amuse Chalmers. He calls his scarecrow The Scarecrow Without A Country; or S.W.A.C. Chalmers scarecrow was cut in half when the Dome came down, and seconds after that a pack of crows who were perched on the scarecrow because Chalmers scarecrow wasn't that scary, were all cut to pieces by the Dome.
