Dorsey Corcoran is the younger brother of Eddie Corcoran and a minor character in the Novel It. He is also the son of Monica Corcoran and Richard Macklin.
Dorsey's father would often beat him and Eddie on a daily basis. In May 1957, Richard brutally beat Dorsey with his recoilless hammer, going as far as killing him. During the trial, his father had eventually broken down and confessed into killing his younger son. When the court had questioned what Dorsey's last words were before he died, Macklin stated "Stop it, Daddy i'm sorry, i love you."
Dorsey later appeared as one of It's manifestations, when chasing Eddie down at the Canal.
Dorsey was also a friend of Georgie Denbrough’s before his death. Georgie was friends with him until Dorsey’s death, which also caused him to become annoyed by other kids, as they continuously asked Georgie how Dorsey died.
