The Derry Civic Center was a large convention hall in the city of Derry, Maine.
Ed Deepneau attempted to crash a prop-plane into the Civic Center in 1994 in order to kill Susan Day, but was partially stopped by Ralph Roberts. The plane crashed short of the building, but Day was decapitated by shrapnel from the explosion. More importantly though, Patrick Danville, in attendance with his mother, survived.
The Mills Lady Wildcats Basketball Team played and won the State Class D championship game at the Civic Center in 2004, led by Sophomore Hanna Compton.
