Alton "Hatch" Hatcher was played by Casey Siemaszk in Storm of the Century.
Biography[]
Hatch was a friend of Mike Anderson and was his lieutenant in police activities and in his activities in his supermarket at Little Tall. He helped him arrest Linoge, but, like Mike Anderson, he failed in stopping him because of his tremendous powers.
At the end, he, like the town, decided to give in to Linoge´s demand of wanting a child from them. His daughter Pippa is not chosen for Linoge, but Ralph Anderson, the son of Mike Anderson, is.
Mike Anderson broke with him and the town because of this. His wife, horrified because of her own behaviour regardin this event, died later of a heart attack. After her death he married Molly Anderson, whom Mike divorced for the same reason, because of common grief. He raises his daughter with Molly and is still afraid Linoge might come back.
