Abagail "Mother Abagail" Freemantle lived in Hemingford Home, Nebraska. During the time of the "Captain Trips-superflu", she was 108 years old. She died from exposure after spending several days in the wilderness
She was a very religious woman. She was the good counterpart to Randall Flagg in the post-apocalyptic world of The Stand. After her time in the wilderness, she ordered several members of the Boulder Free Zone Committee to go to Las Vegas to stand against Flagg.
