Fav Character: Teddy Duchamp

I liked it a lot, it was a fun watch.

Maybe I'll read the book (The Body) at some point, but not yet since I have so much else to read (not kidding when I say it's at least seven other books).

Anyone else here like that movie (or even the book)?

I know it isn't even Thanksgiving yet (for those who celebrate that), but I thought I'd share two Stephen King books that I am getting for Christmas and am very excited to read once I do get them.

So I am rereading IT right now, and I gotta say despite how much I dislike how long this book is...the finale is freaking awesome.

Like WOW.

1958 part - Henry, Belch, and Victor just chasing the Losers, so fun to read! Henry Bowers is insane!

1985 part - The way that five of them are just sitting in Eddie's hotel room with a dead Bowers lying nearby and their all worried about what next because they have no choice now but to face It. How they can't involve the town at all or it'll be all over...wow just exhilarating!

Or how the second adult Bill Denbrough steps through the little entrance door to It's actual lair he instantly remembers everything else and fully understands why Stan the Man didn't come back, why facing It again would be harder than he had thought!

Oh and bonus to that last one I find it kinda funny how the book went on a rant for a whole paragraph on how it wasn't Mike that really knew everything, it wasn't Mike that they actually needed. IT WAS STANLEY URIS THAT KNEW WHAT WAS REALLY UP!

Back to 1958 timeline real quick - Also Richie was so funny when he is just laughing and laughing as Bowers and his gang are running towards him as he and the others are going down into the sewers. Richie was also just doing one of his 'Voices' as well lol.

Haven't finished yet, I'm only at the part where young Bill Denbrough is flying through whatever and talking to Maturin the Turtle.

Is no one just ever going to talk about how Stan's artifact for the Ritual of Chüd in It Chapter 2 was a freaking SHOWERCAP?!

His friends trying to figure out what his artifact would be, and they just see a shower cap he used to keep spiders out his hair back then and their just like:

"Yep, Stan could never leave the house without his beloved shower cap".

I liked the movie Misery well enough.

It didn't scare/disturb me, but no horror films whether normal horror or phycological horror have scared/disturbed me yet.

My favorite character in the film was Paul Sheldon.

Also, there was one part where I actually got pretty annoyed with Annie Wilkes. I know that she is supposed to be crazy and all, but the fact that she doesn't know that fav characters in books (or films for that matter) tend to get killed off was annoying. Obviously I'm referring to when she burst into the guest room all angry because Paul had killed off Misery in Misery's Child.

Also I read the wiki's summary of the book's events, and it said that Paul had burned a fake manuscript instead of the real manuscript of the Misery book that Annie made him write. Then it said that he published the book the freaking crazy lady told him to write??????????????!!!!!!

That is actually kinda angering and I definitely prefer the movie's ending where it was the real book manuscript that he burned and the end of the film showed that his next published book was not a Misery one.

Anyways, that is all I have to say for now.
