Which Stephen king town such as Derry or Jerusalem’s Lot is your favorite?
(I’m running out of ideas)
My answer is Castle Rock
Skarsgard brings the horror in IT but I really enjoyed Curry’s acting in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York
I would rather watch The Lawn Mower Man (1992) than watch the Shining Miniseries
I agree, John Coffey’s death made my aunt, my mom, and I cry

The reason I chose Castle Rock is because I love how it was where an emotional story like Stand by Me/the body took place there and so did a terrifying story about a murderous dog. To me it’s just so cool to see 2 very different stories take place in the same setting
Which Stephen king town such as Derry or Jerusalem’s Lot is your favorite?
(I’m running out of ideas)
My answer is Castle Rock
I read the shining and I agree
The final sequence was
F * * * I N G
A W E S O M E
For the books, the scenes that were sad to me would be:
Jack trying to tell Danny he loves him before the Overlook blows up- The Shining
Crazy Jack beating up Wendy- The Shining
Yes I love the shining
For the movies or just any adaptation I guess:
Sadie and Jake’s last dance-11.22.63
The Window Scene- Salem’s Lot
Generally the 1979 version of Kurt Barlow and all of 1979 Salem’s lot terrifies me.
What do you think is the saddest Stephen king book or movie moment and what do you think is the scariest?

SPOILERS AHEAD
In episode 10 when Chance (who is related to Gordie LaChance from Stand by Me which is my favorite Stephen king adaptation) is walking through Amidy’s supporters and she sees Vera. then Vera starts saying “no” really loudly and Chance just whispers “shut. the. f*ck. up”
Also in the next scene Chance is put in front of ace and I find it funny that in stand by me Gordie LaChance was gonna kill ace with a gun and now ace looks like he’s about to kill Chance with a gun.
I love castle rocks references to kings works.
I haven’t read IT yet because they didn’t have it at any nearby libraries or stores but I have read the Body (stand by me’s basis) and Have watched both IT and Stand by Me.
So I will base this off
2017 IT
1986 Stand by Me
1982The Body
1990 IT Miniseries
2019 It Chapter 2
If the 2 fought as teenagers then I feel Henry could win or Ace would win.
But if they were adults I feel like Henry would win. By the end of The Body,
Gordie LaChance Describes Ace as covered in flesh and basically fat.
So I feel like Henry Would win.
I’m currently watching Cujo though
I don’t feel scared reading horror books but I’m horrified while watching the adaptations.
I didn’t struggle with fear and nightmares while reading the Shining but I was scared watching the Shining movie from 1980
Update: I got The Shining and Salem’s Lot and I’ve finished the shining so now I have 2 more additions.
