I didn’t really like the new tv show, but hopefully the new ending will make up for it
That’s fast. I read about 20-80 pages a day
How many pages a day did you read?
It took me about three months to read. Maybe more like two and a half
The novel It was probably mentioning the town being destroyed in Carrie
I’m guessing that maybe the kids that were in the novel The Institute might have the shining. They had telepathic and telekinetic powers that were similar to the characters you mentioned. Although it could be simple telepathy, but I think those kids, i.e Luke Ellie and Avery Dixon might have a bit of shining in them
I think the main point of the story is if we spend a long period of time with our own thoughts we truly see the type of person we are. We can’t change that inner part of ourself, and we work hard to suppress or express that. In Jack’s case, he’s a troubled man with bad tendencies. He tries hard to keep a good relationship, but the self isolation of the hotel made Jack re-evaluate himself.
Its less the hotel is haunted but more that the hotel has a power to show people’s true self, and that in its self is what makes the hotel scary, in my opinion.
Mine is The Stand: Complete and Uncut Edition. It has everything you want in a novel and a bunch of subplots that are just as interesting as the main plot, if not more.
