Ok, so I'm not sure if we have to announce this or not, but this thread or its comments MIGHT contain spoilers. So: SPOILER ALERT!!!

Anywhoo, I just finished reading Salem's Lot for the 3rd or 4th time, and the biggest question I have is:

How did Barlow get into the Petrie house without being invited? I mean, I know he was a master vampire, but there's nothing in the novel OR in any related future works that talks about any vampire - even a very powerful one - being able to enter a home without being invited. Anyway, any thoughts, comments or rebuttals welcome. Thanks!

Im new to Stephen King’s work, I’m starting to read Salem’s Lot. Ive already read the Body and have an unread copy of Insomnia at home. Just an update literally no asked for.

I recently read IT and Salem’s lot because I heard they were scary I wasn’t sacred at all do you have any suggestions? Please comment
