For those unaware, it's mentioned on the Randall Flagg page (in the Trivia section) that a popular fan theory among Stephen King fans is that Randall Flagg is actually Carrie White's father.
This could potentially explain why Carrie's powers are so strong - especially when you consider her great-grandmother Sadie Cochran had telekinetic powers as well - as well as the fact that Randall Flagg has used many different aliases in his long life, with "Ralph White" possibly been yet another of his names.
(Although at the time of writing this, Ralph White is shown on his list of aliases - which I believe to be an error).
Additionally, there is a section of the Carrie novel where it states the following regarding Ralph White:
"Mama had battled The Black Man and vanquished him. Carrie had seen it happen in a dream. Mama had driven him from the front door with a broom and The Black Man had fled up the street in the night. His cloven feet striking red sparks on the cement. Her mother had torn that something out of herself and was pure."
While this could just be a reference to the Devil due to Margaret White's extreme religious beliefs, some fans associate the "feet striking red sparks" with Randall's cowboy boots along with the fact that another alias associated with Randall Flagg is "The Man in Black".
Question is, what do you think of this fan theory?
Furthermore, if you believe it to be true/make sense, then what would be the reason for it?
Did Randall choose to have a child just for fun so he could potentially cause some second-hand chaos and destruction if Carrie indeed had powers too (considering how nuts her mother was), or do you think he possibly had "other plans" for Carrie - such as having her as an ally/tool in his mission to take over the room at the top of The Dark Tower and become "God of All"?
Curious to see what you think.
