The book has some questionable things in there that I don't like. The 2017 movie followed the plot of the book more so I'll go with that one. Its the most endearing and it's the most rewatch-able.

Yeah, I’ve never read the book and I honestly don’t ever plan to—not unless I went in with a black marker to those specific places and blotted out those scenes. :/

None of them can stand against the original novel but the movies are more worth the time because they’re not too long
