Jackie Thompson was a loner , the doubtable member of Henry’s Bowers’ gang , witty and minor antagonist in the !IT film adaptation. She is played by taissa Farmiga in the 2017 film Version.

First Appearance ( Movie )

Jackie Thompson first appeared when Henry bowers, Patrick Hockstetter, Victor Criss , and Belch Huggins, were seen harassing the losers crew in-front of the bus area . The four bigger boys harass the boys , until Henry’s dad steps up causing the boys to gang into belch’s car . Jackie included flicking her still burning cigarette at Stanley , before sharing a passionate kiss with Patrick then hooping into the car with the boys. Stan now with ashe on his shirt she stock her tongue out: “Lick it up Stanley lick it up “

Backstory ( film )

Jackie Thompson a teenager among others in the high school of Derry... Jackie comes from an all American family , a wealth one her father was a lawyer and her was a wine seller . Jackie was raised to have high expectations from her parents , nothing could be to better than the best ! She was expected to hold high grades and Succeed in whatever she does . She was the golden girl of her class!

When she was younger many of her teachers found her has an over achiever, and rather stuck up when it came to other students . She was often seen reading a book while on the playground, or being chased around by Patrick Hockstetter ( she called him fly boy because she often sat behind him in class watching him kill those innocent flies with a ruler ! ) he always picked with her, even went as far has putting a baggy filled with flies and awful looking flower in her backpack. Her father was outraged This, while her parents chatted with his parents she’d cleaned out her backpack, out slipping folded up piece of paper. She unfolded it tho with the awful hand writing and bad spelled it took a few minutes to read it . the letter read

She only grinned widely before shoved the letter in her drawer, so it began . They wrote each other back and forth , she taught him how to spell , he showed her a dead rat ( she poked it with a pencil) . Their friendship was short built and lived her mother found the notes he’d wrote her, let’s just say it wasn’t a pretty sight. Her mother basically shamed the girl for hanging with ‘ scum of Derry ‘ . Those letters burnt, their short lived friendship disconnected .By the time she was 12 it’s like she was brain washed, into the perfect daughter , she’d won serval spelling bee’s, wore the best clothes , had the family money , her family just looked so perfect! Everything about them screams ‘golden’ . She was the version of what girls wanted, what they envied , desired she had it . Unlike other family’s her’s lacked the loving matter.

She lived in constant fear of her mother due to the verbal abuse and the horrific hazing she faced , during the school year when her grades slipped due to extend studies ( she’d gotta into witch craft studying from her grandmother who secretly passed her a book during a holiday visit) her mother would shout, shame even sometimes smacked her upside the head with a book. She attended summer school that year with bowers gang members, others such has greta bowie , sally and others. Unlike others who misbehaved she stayed quite making small talk with the other girls...they talked about boys and what not. She listened the other girls talk, and talk , and talk but her eyes and mind wondered that’s when she caught him...Patrick stared straight her with a devilish grin on his face . She learned from the other girls he’s handsy ( he would touch on girls during class ) which wasn’t her type of thing , so when summer school ended she would walk home while holding her books close to her chest

That only made her walk faster , he followed soon he was like he was chasing her like back in kindergarten! When she finally stopped and faced him , she gave an annoyed look on her face while gripping her book tightly staring at him . It’s been 7 years since they’d talked or even looked at each other and here they where face to face in-front of a run down burger joint...she took in his features his jet black hair, the height he’d grown, even those stupid leather bracelets he wore . Eww..he smelt and looked dirt like an old rag boll she was clean, cut and trimmed like a porcelain doll . Somehow he convinced her to let him walk her home , honestly not even she remembers how he did it

SCHOOL YEAR OF 1989

Ahh the sweet smell of dirty socks and hallways filled with kids of all ages ! She totally missed this...well she missed one thing her ‘ friend’s ‘ the bowers gang along side Greta and sally . They made summer less boring for her, they spent time at the quarry threw rocks at mr. Wickens house for ‘ failing them in math class’ ( actually they failed from their own stupidity seeing as Jackie passed the class with straight A’s )

This school year was gonna be different! And she cool feel it deep within, she was given given more freedom (only because her parents sometimes went out on business trips soo she snuck friends in) . She’d settled with her new ways of life, she wasn’t that polished doll anymore she was her own puzzle piece ! She’d secretly kept her friendship with Patrick away from her parents but when they left for business trips she’d let him in her home and feed him the food she’d made . Truly their friendship blossomed because Patrick brought her serval dead animals for her ‘ witchy ‘ duties , she’d let him snoop there her room while she’d cleaned up the messy he’s make . But in the need she always tells him off for touching her belongings or opening her parents alcohol which she would get yelled at for!

No matter what even after silly fights with other members or even him , she’d always wake up to him throwing pebbles at her window or sneaking into window just to check up on her . She’d read her witchcraft books while he just snooped sometimes he read along side , but one things for sure she’d always wake up alone ( he’d leave after she’d fallen asleep so he wouldn’t get caught )

She knew it was wrong to even catch feelings for a guy like him the ‘ scum of Derry ‘ , Jackie spent out her school days sitting alone nose deep in a book or just alone. She’d become a dead girl walking...upon the time spent learning witch studies and spending time with Patrick she didn’t see the point in This anymore, mainly turning into a blur .

She actually likes hanging out with the boys but doesn’t like when Henry picks on the other kids, Henry hates that about her , he picks on her too sometimes. Calls her a freak for her witchy things . Patrick just lays off and is a brat about it she kinda annoyed he doesn’t stick up for her but she call Henry a meathead or daddy’s boy to piss him off . Henry mildly tolerating her because Patrick has stepped in before. Patrick calling her jackpot ( she would roll her eyes and flick her cigarette on him before leaving )

Later that night Patrick was throwing rocks at her window and even possibly sneaking in at the middle of the night, She’d let him in and offer him food which he accepts cause he is hungry boy. despite, him eating when he’s hungry. He doesn’t eat much but when is offered, he will accept and eat like he’s starved. He likes Jackie’s room, likes to explore even when she’s kind of precautious. He picks things up, like the various witchy items she uses , She get neat picky with him usually making him but her things down after he touches them.

After spending the night in her bed next to her , when he came to a school day whenever he sees her again he’s very vulgar and flirty, She’d hide her face into her hands before turning her back to him so, he couldn’t see her face anymore .patrick invites her to hang out with the gang, takes her to the quarry and takes her swimming. Whenever he sits with her on the rocks, he’s like touching her hair and teasing her about witchcraft. Or how she won’t swim with them , Jackie was so used to his teasing she only did it back. But the truth is she actually doesnt know how to swim but only tells him she swear on her witch sisters grave she’d never swim ( Tho it was a lie she made seem has real so he wouldn’t make her swim)

Once Henry picked her up and threw her into the water has she screamed for him to stop , she’d didn’t reach the surface in time so Patrick dives in and drags her out. She’d cough up water , taking time to catch her breath listening to Henry laugh before she got up marched straight towards him and punched him in the nose ! Then they went home...Patrick showing up about an hour after they drop her off, fresh clothes, dried hair. He’s just standing on her doorstep and giving her that crazed grin. “Hey Jackpot” , “Beanstalk” she’d let him in only to go back to snooping about to the house since he’d caught her in the middle of looking for one of her books that her mother had hidden from her

And again ! Patrick getting into her parents liquor cabinet, which makes Jackie a little because she’s usually the one getting yelled at out for it so she tries to keep Patrick out of it . She’d gotten so used to him

Drinking her parent’s stuff she’d just join in once- only once!! A drunk jackie is flirty , Like really flirty she drunkenly was hitting on Patrick Things got heated next thing she knew their were kissing in the dinning room- but it was different? She didn’t feel right so they stopped and he went home... the next day at school she’d been in the hallways putting her stuff away when the boy suddenly came up to her and kissed her against the lockers like an animal in front of everyone, and then stalking off with Henry and the gang cause he’s an animal..

She rush into the girls bathroom, with a flushed face and shaky hands that’s when greta and the other girls coming in and calling her a freak for allowing Patrick to kiss her. And mocking her witchcraft , She avoid them at first then it started getting to her cause her to actually start fighting the other girls . The stumbled and fought in the battle until they made it out into the hallway , She was out numbered for sure until she heard the yells of Henry and the boys before they jump in the fight . Jackie remembers it perfectly before victor was getting beat up by a girl ! and they end up fleeing from the principals and teachers to the car fleeing the school laughing and giggling while they got into the car her , Patrick and victor in the backseat. Her and Patrick just making out the whole way to the quarry, Vic is super uncomfortable in the backseat with them. Has soon has they pull up to the quarry jackie leaves him behind and races Henry to the edge before pushing him in

When they get to the quarry, and all the boys rush into the water while taking off their clothes (save for their boxers of course) Patrick jumps in too, Jackie just laughing at them all , She would watch them act like children in the water while laughing, she’d only laugh harder has blech dunked victor over and over .

SUMMER OF 1989

Patrick and her talking about if they’re “dating dating” or just screwing around, Jackie describes her feelings in the best way , she tells him she wants to be in the relationship but she wants to make sure he’s feeling the same. Jackie knew that was the best he could put his feelings into motion, she wasn’t gonna push him to tell her more or anything. Even if they didn’t see eye to eye she still cared for him the same. So with him wanting the relationship she’d let him lay his claim on her , the only time he’d express himself was when they’re alone .

Jackie was pure...she was hesitant to have sex with Patrick , even when he gave her the ‘everyone’s doing it babe’ she only shoved him away more , she never really fully trusted him with the whole sex thing, everytime sex was the topic she’d push it away or change the subject. She hanged out the guys so sex was topic she’d listen to daily from Henry and what not . She never really let him go that way with him everytime things started going south she’d tell him to stop or wait, she wanted to build up the trust and her own self will for sex . Jackie felt kinda bad, she wanted to give herself to him yet she couldn’t she didn’t know how to explain it but she just couldn’t. She wanted to be the best girlfriend she could for him, even if they meant she’d be giving her innocence to him. So she started giving him every little to no action those once thigh touches she’d stop him from doing she’d let him get away with now . She’d let him touch her but ever go the whole way

Jackie adored that he waited her to chose the right timing or place, she actually chose the right to do it with him was after a fight with her parents on a late night , he’d sneak into her room and he can hear her and her parents screaming downstairs, so he’d hide away in the closet and when she comes in there angry. He just appears to see her angry , She’d shut her door while cursing up a storm venting about her parents while kicking around books at layed on her floor, by the time she sees Patrick she’s still in a state of angry by the time she actually started making moves on him ( to piss off her parents! ) Afterward he’s smoking a cigarette and offers it to her to calm her nerves , she’d take the cigarette to smoke off her uneasiness. He tells her how good she was in vulgar details, tells her he liked it. He made her cheeks blush from the details . Her parents would come into her room, they stumbled out apologizes— completely shutting down upon seeing a shirtless Patrick laying in her bed along side their daughter with messy hair and a cigarette. it’s more of Her mother then her father . He gives her the disappointed head shake and mother is literally shouting and trying to kill Patrick—

It was under control until Patrick pulled out a switch blade ! Jackie was in shock he’d pull it out but more shocked that her mother kept going after him calling him all type of slurs. Jackie was to frozen to move, she listened has her mother and Patrick went at each other When she continues to call him all those awful names, don’t think patrick doesn’t retort back with some slurs of his own. Calling her a whore, a bitch from hell.Her mother only fired back calling him a pig, and a humiliation . Jackie wasn’t in her state of right mind she soon began pushing her parents out of her room with threatens

After slamming the door in their face she’d huffed out while running a hand through her hair, she didn’t mean it ! Non of it , she just wanted them gone Henry, Belch and Vic randomly showing up outside and after her parents are gone they slip out the window After they sneak out Jackie receives nuggys from belch has a way to cheer her up . They all go to a diner and scrape together their money for burgers and milkshakes . Jackie getting a plane burger with cheese with a strawberry milkshake passing her cherry to Patrick cause they make her stomach hurt, while he , his hand on her thigh under the table, the boys laughing about how Patrick got told off by a Mrs Thompson She trace is hand with her fingers , while listening to them laughing and joke about Patrick and her mom .Patrick reenacting the whole thing, mocking her mom. Jackie would start laughing, lightly hitting his arm . She enjoyed this time with them truth be told she never wanted to go home. So they hatched up a plan to all sleep at vic’s house !

Jackie stealing the couch from the other boys, only for Henry to shove her off and taking over the couch, Patrick sleeping in the floor right in front of the fireplace cause he knows it’s the warmest spot in the house She didn’t want to sleep on the floor, but she wasn’t in the mood to get pissy with Henry . Jackie just walked over to Patrick and laid next to him a pouty face , Patrick pulling her against him and teasing her to make her smile Which of course she did, she placed her hand on his chest . All she did was whisper’ thank you ‘ he only nods and they share their last kiss...before Patrick went missing

2016

Life for Jackie couldn’t have been better, she lived with her two amazing children, worked has a nurse and even had a nice house ! She never missed the shitty town of Derry she was glad she could have moved on and lived a happy life on her own...but she always missed this thing she had..she couldn’t figure out if it was person or long...but she did find her going back to Derry facing her old demons mainly an old demon...named Patrick hockstetter

For Jackie’s kids her oldest 14 going on 15 her names is Cindy , she is level headed, borderline brilliant. Sometimes her intelligent, compassionate, and brave to the point of recklessness. She often tries to follow in her mother’s studies in witchcraft from her past . yet always falling short with anything to get past she doesn’t take up many actives she’d always saw them has pointless achievements that life wouldn’t come down to needing .

Now for her youngest who’s around 7 her name is Mary (adopted ) - Mary has always been independent growing up she’s a very smart girl for her age. She looks up to her ‘ mother’ and sister even when they make mistakes she’s an overhyper child who adores the beach and icecream. She can have an attitude when it comes to not getting her way or when things don’t go her way she’d very spoiled often forcing tears to her way . But she’d mainly a quite shy girl who stands up for what she believes in and how things should me done

SEEING PENNYWISE

Her first time actually seeing pennywise was in her home mirror, he had been two weeks after Patrick had went missing, it was a nun but just any nun a grossly lookin nun that resembled her mother always having a sense of care built in her daughter .
