I was thirteen-years-old, and have read it several times since. It is not about what physical age you are as to your enjoyment of it or understanding but do recommend that you also read it seventeen years after your initial read :) as you can enjoy it from both perspectives and recall the time you read it when you were younger. Some may argue that there are things young folk should not read in it but I think that's bs. Enjoy it!

I was 11 when I read it and it didn’t bother me and the language is not what you should be worried about. And reading level it is not that bad but to be fair at the age of 10 I could read any book.
