Important? Well, IT is one of the most famous, along side with Carrie, Misery, the Shawshank Redemption, Shining, Pet Semetary and many others. But the most important? Well, it's hard to say it: I'll probably go with IT: I like the physical and psicological metaphor of fighting your fear. But I could say something good even to the Shawshank Redemption, since I like prison-stories like that too, or Carrie for she's an icon of her genere. So... for me, the top 3 King's stories are probably Carrie, Shawshank and IT.

I think it is Carrie, because it gave him the breakthrough he needed to write other books.
